A Warped Sense of Humour
My
Husband and I have a terrible warped
sense of humour. We started
making tee shirts for birthday presents, gag gifts and baby gifts. I already have the
equipment, as in my other life I design digital embroidery for the
domestic market. We began to get more and more requests for custom
tees from friends and friends of friends. All this then morphed into
Nom de Plum Tees .
We
are starting small, the benefit being that we are open to
suggestions, including those of our nine year old grand-daughter,
who
is helping us with our children's tees. As we were both born in
Britain (Wales and England) there tends to be a lot of British content
and of course Celtic.
In order
to save costs on shipping a whole tee shirt, We are going to include
iron-on embroidered patches of
some of our designs soon, great for embellishing blank baby clothes
and tee shirts, saving the cost of mailing bulky tees.
This is a small family
business, and as such we are able to accommodate small orders
without charging exorbitant prices. Digitizing is done on site, and
local delivery for orders over $60.00 is free.
